We are supported by our Advisory Board of specialists
We aim to achieve high level political engagement on key Ukrainian issues with strong networks amongst politicians in both the UK and Ukraine. We are working with stakeholders and politicians to raise awareness over tax, sanctions, insurance and reconstruction.
We support charity partners, such as the Yaschenko Foundation, Stella's Voice, Ukrainian Patriots Association and UAid. We assist by collecting aid in the UK, transporting aid to Ukraine, facilitating volunteers and fundraising across our many networks.
The success of the Homes for Ukraine Scheme has meant hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians are living in the UK. We engage with local authorities to help them with the integration of displaced Ukrainians in villages, towns and cities across the UK.
Building on the success of the European Twinning of places in the UK and around Europe, we want more places in the UK to twin with Ukrainian towns as a sign of solidarity. We provide toolkits and support to UK and Ukrainian places that want to be involved.
Study of the English language has massively increased in the Ukrainian education system. As such, working with local MPs in Ukraine, we are identifying schools to take part in a newly piloted digital pen pal scheme. This will also build strong relationships between students in the next generation and has huge educational benefits for all those participating.
Whilst in investing the Ukrainian economy is currently high risk it is also high reward. We are working with the business community in Ukraine and the UK to mitigate some of the challenges faced by investors, including on insurance. We are also promoting the opportunities of investment in Ukraine, both for now and the reconstruction.
